Rome Street Depot is an industrial estate which is situated within Carlisle City Centre.
It used to be a five and a half acre gas depot which was demolished around 2005. All that remained was the Victorian Gasholder and several small outbuildings plus a telecommunications mast.

The area is handy to get to from the M6 motorway and the City Centre is a five minute walk away from it.

Rome Street Depot is accessed from James Street, (near Matalan), Currock Street or Crown Street and is near to the council refuge facility.
