Jon Lawrence who founded Storage Carlisle® based on the sprawling Rome Street Depot is heavily involved in running the business and is still the primary point of contact. He has many years of valuable experience in the storage and shipping container business.
You will no doubt get to speak to him! Other than running the day to day operations of the business, he has additional interests such as visiting, walking and exploring the vast Cumbrian scenery in his spare time.
One of his numerous hobbies is photographing local scenery in and around Cumbria when out for recreation. We are keen to showcase some of his photographs he personally took of the many views around North Cumbria while walking.
During the period 2020 to 2022 when the country experienced a property boom; a significant volume of people relocated to Cumbria from other parts of the UK, with significant numbers from the South East of England.
Anyone still thinking of retiring to the area, or moving for work or personal reasons have the Lake District National Park just a stones throw from Carlisle. Keswick taking a mere 40 minutes or so travelling time in the car.
These photographs, below, may inspire people thinking of making the move and are all within an hours drive from the Storage Carlisle® main depot in the City Centre. The views are mainly taken in North Cumbria, Keswick and The Lake District as a whole.
For those considering moving to Carlisle or its many surrounding villages, The Lake District National Park is an area you will never tire of.
