What quantity can be stored in a jumbo container unit?
Our jumbo sized shipping container units are massive! Far bigger than our standard 20 foot container units, they are huge. They also sit higher than a conventional container unit and can hold the contents of an average size four bedroom home with ease. You'll almost be lost inside one of these units!
Our jumbo units are capable of holding a massive 30 tonne. They have quality wooden floors, plywood, or gloss varnished finishes, and can hold a four bedroom house worth of contents but we have actually seen a five bedroom house contents fit into one!
The solid corten steel structure of the unit is designed for transportation across the globe, but for self storage environments, have a stress free easy life. This is a great size unit if you have more to store than a standard sized 20 foot container unit, or just want to make a bit more space inside the unit to walk around.

Storage Carlisle® jumbo container units are kept in the very best order and have a cubic capacity approaching 38 cu meters, or around 1320 cu feet of contents.
The dimensions are roughly 20 foot long, 8 foot across and 9.6 foot high. They weigh around 2.3 tonnes. They can hold up to an average four to five bedroom house worth of contents including all white goods etc.

Our 20 foot jumbo container units are kept in fresh, clean order and are a perfect size for those with just that bit extra to store.
These storage container units, like their smaller 20 foot cousins are easy to operate, with heavy duty handles. They again have two front opening doors that open outwards with trickle vents and rubber seals which keep contents sealed from the elements.
These type of storage containers are purpose made - not adapted versions of their smaller cousins to keep the double doors on the front to the correct specification (albeit bigger) with rubber seals and the correct locking mechanisms.
